Rules

1. Person must be a current member of ASTD-Memphis by November 30 of the current year.
2. The period for earning ASTD Bucks is January 1 to November 30 of the current year.
3. ASTD Bucks must be used in the year they are earned and are not eligible to be carried over to subsequent years.
4. Person must be present at the selected event to spend the ASTD Bucks; otherwise the accrued ASTD Bucks are null and void.
5. If a member brings a guest to an ASTD function, the member must clearly identify the individual as a guest when making reservations and notify the person at the registration table in order to obtain appropriate ASTD Bucks.
6. Adequate contact information should be submitted with all donations of gifts (tangible or intangible) for use with event in conjunction with ASTD Bucks.
7. A listing of accrued ASTD Bucks will be available on a monthly basis. Members are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the report and bringing any inaccuracies to attention of the ASTD Bucks Committee Chair within 60 days of the event that potentially received points.
8. Highest bid made at the auction will receive the item, after bidding has stopped as long the member has appropriate amount of ASTD Bucks.
9. Credit for serving on an ASTD Board Committee must be confirmed by the ASTD Board Committee Chair and submitted to the ASTD Bucks Data-Base Sub-Committee Co-Chair on a monthly basis.
10. All auction items must be "redeemed" no later than June 30 of the subsequent year unless item has a stated earlier or later deadline.
11. ASTD-Memphis reserves the right to change ASTD Buck points and earning requirements and limit earnings as deemed necessary.
12. ASTD Bucks are not transferable.

** Example: Attend July meeting, receive 25 Bucks, attend August meeting, receive 45 Bucks, attend September meeting, receive 45 Bucks, miss October meeting, attend November meeting, receive 25 Bucks.
